As the messenger god prepares to make his latest delivery to heaven, he stops along his ascent to take in the orange and grapefruit growing in the Elysian fields. Vetiver grasses cover the terrain leading up to the pearly gates, and the messenger god is admitted entry immediately. This initial message was delivered in 2006 when the eau de toilette of Terre d’Hermes was released. Since then, many versions of the fragrance have been introduced, but nothing holds a candle to the original. Aroma of Heaven is our inspired expression of the vintage formulation of this iconic perfume, and it is a masterful blend of orange, pepper, vetiver, and patchouli. The greenness is coarse, and the freshness can be bitter at times as well. These are the nuances that make the fragrance so unique. The vintage formulation is as strong and as natural as you will get. We wouldn’t have it any other way when it comes to our inspired expression. This fragrance has been a long time in the making, and we are happy to release it to our devout supporters!
