In our quest to track down the most exclusive and elusive scents on the planet, one in particular left us speechless and breathless. Irois by Henry Jacques bears a citrus presence unlike anything our team has ever smelled before. We were fortunate enough to be strolling through rainy Brompton Road in London when we happened upon the icon Harrods shop. To our pleasure and excitement, we learned about the exclusivity of this treasured creation. Its whereabouts are limited to London and France. Even after you’ve found your way to one of these scarce boutiques, you need to be comfortable spending £500 for 10 milliliters of this glorified concoction. Keeping consistent with our mission to provide fairly priced alternatives for lavishly priced perfumes, we have closed a large price gap with this one. Best Citrus Ever is self-explanatory. A realistic and organic lemon opening is met with a heart of iris that awakens the creamy heart. The lush notes of the mid persist in the base with a foundation of sandalwood and exotic labdanum. Vetiver alludes to the fruit-bearing earth that lured you in to begin with. We’d be lying if we told you this isn’t one of the best fragrances we’ve ever smelled.
