 Fans of Gucci often regress in their recollections to a time when Tom Ford called the shots and their fragrances lasted more than just a couple of hours. Envy is one such fragrance held in high esteem. Regretfully, its fate was among the many that would cease to see the light of day. Fortunately, with the aid of modern science and skilled chemists, Envy is once again available to the masses in the form of Dua’s inspired expression named Covet. With Covet, we knew that getting as close to the original formula would be instrumental in people appreciating the fragrance as an artifact of the history of designers past. Fortunately, we’ve managed to recreate the masterpiece and all of its wonder. Smokey incense pairs with sandalwood and ginger for a composition as spicy as it is sultry. Amber and tobacco retain the sensual warmth while cedar and leather establish the masculine aura that fans of the fragrance remember all too fondly. We desire that our version of this masterful creation will not only please those who have been lucky enough to own a bottle of the original, but also those who are smelling it for the first time and falling in love with it.
