Such was the case with Thierry Mugler’s Pure Malt, where the perfume was said to age and macerate in whiskey barrels so as to allow the aroma of the spirits to infuse into the eau de toilette. The original from 2009 has this boozy richness that we speak about, and after securing a bottle of the first formulation, we knew it was time to create our inspired expression right away! After recreating this fragrance, we have isolated the boozy and fruity components of it and are now combining them with the spicy sweetness of our version of Layton by Parfums de Marly. Nothing compares to the success of Layton, so it was an easy selection for this latest hybrid. Our fusion of these two fragrances is called Killer Royal Chariot’s Instinct, and it is the ideal fragrance if you’re seeking a blend that strikes a balance between boozy and sweet!
