This time, in even more rare fashion, it happened to be between an original fragrance and an inspired expression. Both of these fragrances contain vanilla and a variation of cacao, and combining these two was effortless! M’Lady in Havana is an inspired hybrid of our version of Thierry Mugler’s Pure Havane and DUA’s M’Lady, and the honeyed tobacco accord is married with a lush floral bouquet that breathes new life into the composition! Orange blossom and ylang-ylang in the opening carries some lightness before the dark base of patchouli, benzoin, and coffee. The gourmand shadings are well rounded as they consist of natural vanilla, tonka beans, and coffee. Honey tones also up the sugar level a few notches. M’Lady in Havana is the ideal perfume if you’re looking for an elegant perfume without the prudelike softness. This complex perfume will create a duality of dark and light.
