Midnight Rendezvous At Casino Royale

After becoming one of our best selling inspirations to date, we knew that we had to hybridize Casino Royale Nights with any fragrance the formula of which was conducive to an inspired hybrid. After successfully blending it with others in the past, one fragrance we kept our eye on for a future inspired hybrid is the vintage formulation of Yves Saint Laurent’s La Nuit de L’Homme inspiration. After sourcing a bottle of this elusive original formulation, making an accurate copy took some time. Now, we see how the cardamom from Midnight Rendezvous and the saffron from Casino Royale Nights are a perfect match. Further in the dry down, we are greeted with bright lavender and a bite of almond that give the fragrance distinction and accordance. Resins and musk frame the portrait in such a way that the vivid olfactory hues are contained and kept within proximity of one another. In usual fashion, key ingredients are isolated, worked into a fixed accord, and reintroduced into the blend for a smell and finish that are smooth and effortless. This sophisticated method creates a new smell that reminds us of current classics but allows it to also stand on its own two legs. Your rendezvous is waiting! We hope you’re on your way!
