A*Men Kryptomint is the mint-based offering from the brand, and its combination of Mint and Patchouli makes it an interesting Amber Fougere fragrance. Mint-O-Krypt is our take on this hard-to-find fragrance by Mugler, and while the fragrance was much appreciated when it was released, many have never tried it because of its untimely demise. The moment it hits your skin, Mint erupts like crushed ice in a silver shaker, not toothpaste-clean, but wild, almost herbal, like spearmint growing through cracked pavement. Sage and Geranium twist through it, green and slightly peppery, a shadowy contrast to what comes next: Dark Chocolate melted over a double boiler, rich and bittersweet, while Coffee Beans crackle like a distant espresso machine. But here’s the sorcery, just when you think it’s all midnight intensity, Vanilla and Tonka Bean rise like steam from a warm cup, softening the edges into something addictive. And underneath it all, Patchouli, the earthy kind, something damp and subterranean, like wet earth under a city sidewalk.
