Poisonous Amber

Our vision momentarily comes into focus, and we look around the room for a fortuitous glimpse of our antidote. We scan our surroundings to discover that the bottle we seek is not within reach. The inches feel like miles as we advance towards our goal, and before long, the bottle is resting gently between our palm and fingertips. The label begins to materialize, and the text finally becomes legible. Is our dazed condition the result of sickness or extreme euphoria? The beautiful aroma with which we are greeted once removing the cap from the bottle suggests the latter. Blood orange and bergamot catch our attention initially with their effervescence. Amber crystals are potent and intoxicating, and smelling them again reignites our stupor. Musk crystal and vanilla in the base both serve to complement the natural sweetness of the amber. This Dua original creation is called Poisonous Amber, and you’ll find yourself questioning whether you’re holding the poison or the remedy.
